A Lego pendulum clock with these important characteristics:

• it keeps time and its pendulum can be adjusted

• it has a stable escape mechanism
• the hands can be set by disengaging them from the rest of the mechanism
• it winds itself, so it runs as long as the batteries in the RCX brick will last
• it does not stop ticking when it is wound up.
